I woke at 4:44 this morning.

I didn't be grudge the early hour ~

because I knew it was purposeful

on a soul level.

I'm big into numbers.

I've read a lot of books written by Doreen Virtue.

So I knew on this day of days,

when I'll be taking my husband to a hospital

for a procedure,

that 'someone' was trying to tell me something by waking me at this time.

I knew that I was supposed to see these specific numbers on the clock.

So I brewed some coffee,

turned on the lights of the Christmas tree in the overtly dark room

and sat in the silence mesmerized by the twinkly glow.

And after a few minutes of soulful meditation,

I opened a book by Doreen Virtue...

The gist of what I read about 4:44 is this...

'The angels are surrounding you now, reassuring you of their love and help. Don’t worry because the angels’ help is nearby.'

I couldn't help but smile.
