A Little Glow UP

One could say that 365 Pages a year seems to be turning into 12 pages a year.

It would be a fair assessment.

I will concede to the fact that life has gotten the best of me.

And writing has taken a back seat.

If this is your first time here,

please give me a fair shake before you look away or judge.

Scroll to Page One on January 1st 2022

and read on from there.

You will see that my inspiration cup wasn't always half empty.

Or half full, depending on your perspective.

I'm in a half full cup state of mind today.

I've read a quote on more than one occasion that when you feel inspired write, when you're uninspired read. I can't remember the quote verbatim or who in fact said it. And I apologize for that, I have searched to no avail. And because I want to find it today, I cannot. But I'm feeling that I must've been pretty uninspired as of late because I can list off a sizeable stack of books that I've read in the past month alone.

But although I haven't been inspired to technically write anything new,

I have re-read my feature film script.

More than once.

I gave it a little word shuffling.

Added some juicy dialogue revamps.

Some minuscule plot shifts.

Minor edits.

In my mind,

I gave it a Glow Up.

Because really,

no genie is popping out of the bottle without a little rub & shine.

And then I made a wish and sent it on it's way.

I'm crossing fingers that this script competition is the one that shakes things up for me ~

but with that being said,

I know I still have two wishes left just in case.
