But as I sit here now, I have to acknowledge the weight that was lifted from my #spirit with only a few inches of hair.
When I walked into the #salon @industryhair_niagara yesterday I had butterflies in my stomach… I had no idea what I was going to walk out looking like.
When I sat in the colour chair, I was asked ~ “What are we doing?”.
My response 😬 “Well, I’m bored”.
The amazing reply, a chuckle & “We love it when you’re bored.”
At that point my Butterflies took a bit of a nap.
After a couple hours ⏰ Yes, #hours, I sat in The chair for my cut. Mare asked “So what are we doing?”.
Me: “I don’t know.”
“What?! You ALWAYS know?!”.
So I pulled out my phone, opened my #hair album of photos ~ Of which there are currently 164 saved #pics.
I’ve been obsessing about my #pixie that past 6 weeks or so… but I was thinking we couldn’t do it at this appointment because of the #bangs I had cut at my last visit. I was also a little uncertain, I mean I’ve been growing my hair… but the question nagging my Brain was “why?”.
I didn’t have a solid answer to give my brain, all I saw what #fine, #limp, boring hair. I mean it was a cute cut, but… very #momlife. No offence moms with a great #bob, I just felt mine was just a little weak in some areas, my hair texture 🙄. But aside from that, I wasn’t 100%, certain, more so because of said bang #situation.
BUT @marilynvendittellihair knows my hair, she knows #Me & she knows what we can pull off together 💇🏼♀️
I gotta say, It’s pretty great feeling like I’m back to me. Now just gotta let those bangs grow! Missing my #hermie #elf flip!
Life’s too short for Boring Hair.
Be Brave. Be You.
