Feeling the vibes of the season today.
The Christmas tree is up,
some gifts are wrapped.
All in matchy-matchy holiday wrapping paper and matching cotton bags,
which will go without saying if you know me.
This first parcel box is labelled
and will be dropped at the post
to be placed on a pre Christmas Eve sleigh.
And part of what added to my festive mood
was the conversation that I had
for over an hour
with my son's partner
as I sat in my vehicle
sipping a festive latte
in the shops parking lot.
When the phone rings,
answer that call.
Always.
Those moments are everything.
