I pulled into the lot at work
the other day.
Happy.
Chipper.
The sun hit my eye.
I squinted.
Then smiled to myself.
Ahhhh… the sun.
So I was feeling
Optimistic,
Of the day ahead.
I saw a parking spot at the end of a row.
Perfect.
Only the potential of being dinged by a door on one side of my vehicle.
I backed in.
As I put my vehicle in ‘Park’
a song came on ~
“Groove is In the Heart”.
Yes!
Amazing!
I feel this energy this morning.
I love the nostalgic chords it strums on my heart strings.
I stepped out of my vehicle
Lyrics still singing in my mind.
I stood tall.
Music is Magic.
I Shut the door.
Then my heel glided on the black ice.
That record in my mind came to a scratching halt.
