I woke this morning

to "Happy Birthday"

texts,

and

#IG messages.

And they still keep coming.

The beauty of technology.

A positive side to social #media.

It's all So very heart warming.

Some messages read ~

"HBD!"

I can’t be the only one

whose brain

automatically defaults

the letters HBD

into

‘Has Been Drinking’.

Anyone who has worked in an ER

or worked in conjunction

with an ER,

during my era of the ER,

must see it too!?!

It takes a moment for my brain to see

"Happy Birth Day".

Old habits

die hard.

Muscle #memory is a real thing.

No matter how many shifts occur in your life.

So thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.

I’ll think of you when I be HBD at dinner tonight.
