Have you ever had one of those moments,
when someone says ~
"Hey, I've been meaning to ask, How are You?".
Not a "Hi, how are you?" type of polite in passing nicety.
A legit question.
And you see the sincerity In their eyes.
And without meaning to,
you hesitate…
before saying "I'm good!"
And then say ~ "Really? You hesitated."
And then tears flood your eyes.
And you try so hard to not let them fall.
And you apologize…
For being human?
For having emotion?
For feeling truly seen for a moment?
I had one of those moments today.
